My nephew is 4 years old. He says that when you have done something 100 times, you know it. But not before. You have to do it 100 times.
I think my nephew is right.
That's why I want to build 100 companies. Please let me explain.
The fantastic adventure of a startup requires multiple skills. You have to be a visionary, getting stuff done, administrate everything and facilitate to get the most out of your team. The skill set needed is more than a single person can possibly handle.
Still we try. Everyday founders set out on a journey to change the world and master all stages needed to bring a company from an idea to a huge, profitable company that impacts the world.
I have tried many times myself. Most of the times I have failed. After 100 months I have realised I don’t have all the skills needed to master it all. No one has. But I am truly passionate about identifying a need, testing solutions and starting a business around the ones who are validated. I truly love the very first phase of a startup. I can do that. 100 tim.es. 100X.
100x understands we have different personalities and lets people become the best themselves they possibly can be. 100xCompanies have different leaders and teams based on the phase its in. It all starts in the 100xLab with a team fully dedicated to identifying needs and validating ideas. When an idea is validated, the next team moves in with their passion for scaling and running a startup.
100x is not only about creating startups. Its a way of living. If you are not willing to do something 100 times, why should you bother doing it at all? The 100xCulture is about seeking the adventures you love and learn to master them by heart, soul and mind.
100x is about excellence. Its about proving to the world that startups should be created with our personalities in mind. Its about finding what you love and repeat it till the end of time.
I'll give myself 100 years. I'm going to love it. I already do.
